Vrindavan, 2016. 02. 10 (V.T): An exhibition on wheel will travel to various places where Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu stopped en route to Vrindavan 500 years ago. It will also travel to some other places of Bengal where Mahaprabhu went besides travelling to the National Capital in Delhi and the State Capital in Lucknow.
The exhibition is organized by the Vrindavan Research Institute to celebrate the 5th Centennial of the Chaitanya’s advent to Vrindavan. The purpose of organizing the event is to impart information about the life and philosophy of the Lord.
On Tuesday, the District Magistrate of Mathura Shri Rajesh Kumar launched the exhibition on wheels and flagged it off. The exhibition will display the pastimes and preaching of the Mahaprabhu in every stoppage of the journey. A group of devotees chanting Harinam Mahamantra is also accompanying the ‘exhibition on wheel’.
The exhibition is carrying the deities of Nitai – Gour and the Six Goswamis. After leaving Vrindavan the ‘exhinition’ went to Soron, from where it will proceed to Naimisaranya, Lucknow, Allahabad, Gaya, Vaidyanath Dham, Durgapur, Nabadweep, Mayapur, Shantipur, Kolkata, Tamluk, Remuna, Kheerchora Gopinath, Bhubaneshwar, Puri, Sakshi Gopal, Alanath, Cuttuck, Ranchi, Varanasi, Kanpur, and Delhi. The exhibition will also visit the different places of Vraja including Radha Kund, Govardhan, Nandgaon, Varsana etc. before returning to Vrindavan.
After flagging of the ‘exhibition on wheel’, the District Magistrate said Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu distributed the nectar of ‘Prema-Bhakti’ in Vraja five centuries back. Shri Mahesh Narayan, the director of the Vrindavan Research Institute said that most of the books related to Chaitanya’s philosophy are available in the Vrindavan Research Institute. Shri Tamal Krishna Brahmachari from Imlitala Mahaprabhu Mandir said that Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was an incarnation of Divine Love.
The Additional District Magistrate (E) Shri A.K. Avasthi, Shri Padmanabh Goswami, Dr. Vinod Banerjee, Dr. Lakshmi Goutam, Jagannath Poddar, Jaidev Dey, Kanhaiya Lal Sharma, Vinod Jha etc. were also present when the exhibition was flagged off.
