Mathura Police keeping public up to date through social media

Mathura 2016.07.06 (VT): The Mathura Police is using social media these days to inform the public about the Department’s good works in an effort to improve its public image.

The Police department is using Twitter account by the name “Mathura to keep the general public in the loop about the activities of the department.

After SSP Babloo Kumar replaced SP Rakesh Singh in the office, the Mathura Police department has been very active on social media. Every day’s work along with reports and information are passed to the senior officers and the general public using the Twitter account. The department is also using the account to share information among them. General public is also using social media to inform Police of any mis-happening in the city.

The Mathura Police Twitter account is also following high-ranked police officers and bureaucrats to keep them informed about important events and activities.

Some recent posts have shown SSP Babloo Srivastava congratulating recently promoted Girish Chandra and Rajesh Kumar. They were promoted to the rank of Sub-inspector recently. Some posts show the SSP inspecting security preparations for the upcoming Muriya Purnima in Govardhan and at the Eidgah in Mathura, where Eid is to be celebrated today.
